CTO Thomas Ullmann at the IIoT Ecosystem Partner Meetup

Thomas Ullmann, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of IoT Venture GmbH, presents examples of uses for the company’s innovative solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT) at a network meeting of Siemens MindSphere and AtomLeap. The startup company with headquarters in Darmstadt and Berlin offers, among other things, LPWAN technology-based hardware and software for the bicycle and building management industries. Other solutions for companies offered in the portfolio include the development of digital business models and data platforms.

“With LPWAN, we are launching a new era of digitalisation. In just a few years, everyone and everything will be networked together,” according to Ullmann from the Pier-F-Zukunftshafen in Frankfurt. Approximately 40 select companies met at the event (IIoT Ecosystem Partner Meetup) to discuss the potential of a cooperation. Among the participants were established mid-sized companies, startups from the areas of IoT and data analytics, and representatives from Siemens, Siemens MindSphere, and AtomLeap. Six select high-tech startups – including IoT Venture GmbH – presented their business models.

The Siemens MindSphere is a cloud-based, open IoT operating system from Siemens that connects products, equipment, systems, and machines. This makes it possible to put the wealth of data from the Internet of Things to good use with extensive data analyses. AtomLeap is a startup accelerator from Berlin specialising in innovative technology.
